File Converter - Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about file conversion
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. All conversions happen entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Can you see or store my files?
No. We never receive your files, so we cannot see, store, or access them.
Is this safe for sensitive documents?
Yes. Since files are processed locally and never uploaded, this is one of the safest ways to convert documents online.
What file formats are supported?
We support: PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, HTML, PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, and SVG formats. You can convert between documents and images.
How are PDFs converted on this site?
We use pdf.js to handle PDF processing entirely in your browser. This means your files are never uploaded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Do you support batch conversion?
Yes. You can convert multiple files at once. There is a limit of 450MB total for batch conversions, with a maximum of 200MB per individual file.
Are my downloaded files saved on the website?
No. The files are downloaded locally to your device and we do not have access to them. There is no way for us to access your downloaded files since it's all done locally on your device.
What about third-party libraries like html2canvas?
Libraries like html2canvas process content entirely in your browser and do not transmit your data to any servers. These libraries cannot access or store your files. The only data sent over the internet is the initial library code from content delivery networks (CDNs), which do not receive your file contents or conversion data.
