EXIF Metadata Remover - Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our priority
We do not upload your images
All metadata removal happens directly in your browser. Your images never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.
We do not store your images
Since your images are processed locally, we have no servers storing any of your image data. There are no databases, backup systems, or storage infrastructure that contains your images.
We do not analyze or examine your images
Your image contents remain completely private. We never analyze, scan, or process the visual content of your images. We only process metadata extraction, which happens entirely on your device.
We do not log filenames or metadata
We do not log your image filenames, EXIF data, location information, or any metadata. Your images are processed locally in your browser and are not recorded by us in any way.
We do not sell or share image data
Since we never have access to your images or metadata in the first place, there's nothing for us to sell or share. Your data is yours alone.
Analytics
We may use basic analytics (such as page views and general site usage) to understand how the EXIF remover is being used. These analytics do not include image data, filenames, metadata, or any information about your images.
Third-Party Advertising
If ads are displayed, they are provided by third-party networks and may use cookies according to their own privacy policies. Advertisers do not receive your image data or metadata.
Open-Source Libraries
This tool uses piexifjs, an open-source MIT-licensed JavaScript library for EXIF data handling. Piexifjs is used entirely within your browser to process metadata locally and does not transmit any data to external servers. The library is publicly available on GitHub and has been audited by thousands of developers. No personal data is collected, transmitted, or stored by this library.
